Welcome to Dogs Day Away!
Dogs Day Away is a locally owned and operated private dog boarding facility located in a quiet neighborhood just 23 miles south of downtown Austin in Kyle, TX. We welcome pets of ALL BREEDS AND BEHAVIORS (including Pit bulls!) as well as various medical conditions. Dogs Day Away offers dog boarding, daycare, training and basic grooming for all breeds.
Operating from our home allows us to provide a higher quality of care than that of a typical boarding facility. All boarding guests receive personalized and individual free play 5-6 times per day in our half acre fenced yard. Dogs can enjoy a safe, healthy and fun atmosphere with lots of human interaction. After completing one of our training programs, dogs are allowed access to our dog daycare groups for playtime with other canine friends. Dogs Day Away offers a wide variety of services based on your individual needs, including affordable rates for multi-pet families and discounts for long term needs.

At Dogs Day Away we plan each day to ensure that we deliver the highest quality fun to every dog in our care. We strive to take care of your dog as we take care of our own. We recognize that staying away from home can be a strain on our beloved pets, and can cause stress and worry for their parents. It is our goal to make your dog feel “at home” and provide the finest care possible. For many, leaving a dog in someone else’s care is like leaving a child, and we at Dogs Day Away understand this and take that responsibility very seriously.
All guests must also provide proof of current vaccinations including Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. This is to ensure the safety of all guests.
